Once you get over the sticker shock, just savor the delicious artisanal ice creams and pies. Everything that we have had here was consistently top quality. We especially like the seasonal flavors such as peach ice cream during summer. Note that the high butter fat makes the mini serving quite satisfying for most adults. Very helpful, friendly service. Visiting Sierra Madre village is like stepping back in time to Main Street USA from the 1950s.

The mother of all ice cream in California. Mothermoo creamery is a hidden gem in the LA area. The location is amazing and the ice cream is on a league of it's own. Try the triple organic milk. It is a creamy and the milkiest flavor you'll find. It's all organic too and you will be able to taste the difference. Once you try it, you would want to drive however far you live just to get this ice cream.

My God, the best fruit pies. They taste completely natural, not sugary or syrupy. We go back often.

Awesome Ice Cream spot in the cozy northern portion of Pasadena/Arcadia area. Flavors are on point, comparable to other noteworthy creamery places like Salt & Straw, Rori's, Jeni's, Bengee, Magpies, Afters, Fosselmans etc and nearby but pricey neighbor Carmela. Personally, I love their triple milk paired with either salty chocolate or butterscotch. Always a treat to return here.

Best ice cream I've ever had

I normally don't even eat ice cream all that often, but I got a scoop of the Plum Sorbet and the Salty Chocolate ice cream, and both were delicious! I believe everything (if not most) is made from scratch and is organic. I'd come back again, definitely.

Good variety of desserts. Had a frozen banana dipped in yogurt. Tasty! Was going to get a milkshake but didn't want to pay $11.00. Probably should have asked if they had one at a lesser price. A great spot for pies and cakes for a special occasion or for yourself.

This is one of my favorite ice creams places. Their flavors change every so often. The flavors are very interesting as well. I would definitely recommend this place. Their cookies and cream ice cream is probably the best I've had.

Amazing ice creams, sorbets, popsicles, and chocolate dipped frozen bananas. Not to mention the wonderful homemade pies. An absolute must if you are looking for a treat in the area!

I'm giving a 4-star for mother mousse the food is very good of ice creams always tasty great flavors I'm giving a four-star though not a five-star because the pricing is hi Two Scoops ice cream is $10 that's a crazy a slice of pie is like $8 if you want to buy a whole pie it's just 6 slices Highland however many slices you would get out of a pi times the regular cost you pay for one slice

Deliciously creamy ice cream, with limited amount of flavours. Ice cream is all made in-house, and they are interesting, such as salty chocolate. The place is small, with a few tables, it’s very cute, they have plastic toy cows on the table, and are just all about cows. Service was friendly and there is ample street parking outside.

Amazing ice cream, pies, and frozen popsicles. On this trip to Mothermoo we tried the sour cherry pie, the kumquat, and the key lime pies. So yummy. Also got a raspberry lemonade and vegan chocolate popsicle, both were really tasty. The vegan chocolate was my favorite and would recommend to chocolate lovers because it's very rich and chocolatey and not overly sweet. Everyone working there is so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend this place!

Good, richly flavored ice cream. I got the organic triple milk which had the right semi-thick texture. This is a good sign because it means that the ice creams are naturally made. Most thick ice creams use emulsifiers to give them thick textures. The taste was creamy and of course, milky, but it tasted better than milk! However, the cost is at a higher end. A single scoop was $5.50. Normally, that is the price of a quart or gallon depending on the brand.

We've been fans says opening week. We stumbled upon this gem of spot by accident looking for a Mexican restaurant. We popped in for a quick sample and knew we'd come right back after dinner. We miss the SoPas location. Pies, ice cream, vintage memorabilia and the smiley-est folks keep us coming back.

I have a genuine love for Moo. I can sample their ice cream but can't really eat it due to the dairy content. I typically opt for a piece of their homemade pie. This place is by far my kids favorite ice cream shop and it NEVER disappoints.

There can never be anything wrong with a homegrown, organic ice cream shop. I've been coming here for years and I will continue to come until the day I die.

Amazing ice cream and sweets. You can taste the difference instantly, it's so rich and creamy and there is no mistaking the flavor. The staff is friendly and it's very clean and fun decorated inside, there's always something new you'll notice. Although it is a bit pricey, it is definitely worth it because you get what you pay for and that's high quality products with organic, locally sourced ingredients

Fresh and 100% home made ice cream with some really interesting and tasty flavor options, amongst the classics of course. Typical quaint little Sierra Madre storefront right in the heart of the town to fill your sweet tooth. Definitely recommend it if you're in the mood and they have great size options if you don't want to indulge too much.

A lot of their flavors are made with their "triple milk" base which is really delicious. The cashier was very patient and informative. She let us sample a lot of the flavors. My favorite was the cinnamon brittle. We also tried two different slices of pies (a berry one and a s'mores one) but we weren't crazy about them.

Small ice cream parlor that's a throwback to past times. The waffle cone made when ordered. The passion fruit, strawberry, and honey ice cream were perfect.
